Privacy Policy

Effective date: 9 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MOJO Innovations ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you visit fonearcade.com and the game sites we operate. We keep data collection to a minimum: there are no user accounts, no contact forms and no newsletter, and no analytics or advertising cookies or identifiers are used without your consent.

1. Who we are

The data controller for the sites covered by this policy is:

  • MOJO Innovations, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME AND COMPANY NUMBER, IF INCORPORATED]
  • Address: [POSTAL ADDRESS], Ireland
  • Email: mike.oconnor.irl@gmail.com

This policy covers the following sites, all operated by MOJO Innovations:

  • fonearcade.com (the games portal)
  • ants.fonearcade.com (Ants vs. Sweets, a tower defense game)
  • leafyletters.com (Leafy Letters, a word search game)
  • crusaderx.fonearcade.com (Crusader X, a space combat game)

2. What we collect

We do not offer user accounts, contact forms or newsletters, and we do not directly collect your name, email address or other contact details. The only data processed in connection with the sites is:

  • Usage and device data via Google Analytics 4: analytics cookies and identifiers are used only with your consent, and cover, for example, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, and how you interact with the sites. Even before you consent, the Google tag sends limited, cookieless "consent mode" pings to Google (which necessarily include your IP address, the page you are viewing and basic browser information) that Google uses for aggregate modelling; these pings are not linked to cookies or persistent identifiers.
  • Advertising data via Google AdSense (only with your consent): Google may use cookies and similar identifiers to serve and measure ads on the game sites.
  • Standard server logs from our hosting provider: IP address, user agent and timestamps, kept for security and troubleshooting and deleted after no more than [30] days.
  • Game progress in localStorage: the games may save your progress in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) for analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) and advertising cookies (Google AdSense). No analytics or advertising cookies are set until you accept via the cookie banner.
  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) for keeping short-lived server logs to secure and maintain the sites, and for establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Please note that your cookie choice is made and stored separately on each of the sites listed in section 1. Each site shows its own cookie banner and its own "Cookie Settings" link, and accepting or withdrawing consent on one site does not accept or withdraw it on the others.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

When you first visit, a cookie banner asks for your consent. We use Google Consent Mode v2, and all four consent signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage) default to denied. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you choose to accept them. Even while consent is denied, the Google tag sends limited, cookieless signals to Google (for example the consent state and basic page information, which at network level includes your IP address) that are not linked to cookies or persistent identifiers. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer. Your choice applies only to the site on which you make it: each site stores its consent separately, and you need to make (or withdraw) your choice on each site individually.

Cookie(s) Provider Purpose Duration Consent category
_ga, _ga_Q6EJS90MKY Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) Distinguish visitors and measure how the sites are used 2 years Analytics (analytics_storage), off by default
__gads, __gpi, __eoi and similar advertising cookies Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) Serve, limit and measure ads on the game sites; frequency capping and fraud prevention Up to approximately 13 months Advertising (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization), off by default
fa-consent (localStorage item, not a cookie) MOJO Innovations (first party) Records your cookie consent choices and when you made them Until you clear your browser data or change your choice Strictly necessary (exempt from consent)

For more detail about how Google uses data and cookies, see How Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's cookie policy.

The games also use localStorage to save your game progress. This is not a cookie, it contains no personal details, and it never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

5. Recipients and processors

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the sites. Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and Google LLC provide Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense. Our hosting provider, [HOSTING PROVIDER NAME], based in [HOSTING PROVIDER COUNTRY], processes server logs on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Data processed by Google may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. These transfers are safeguarded under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable. If our hosting provider stores server logs outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is safeguarded by [TRANSFER SAFEGUARD, for example the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses]. You can view the list of certified organisations at www.dataprivacyframework.gov and the Standard Contractual Clauses on the European Commission website, or request a copy of the applicable safeguards by emailing us.

7. Retention

  • Google Analytics 4 event data: retained for up to 14 months, after which it is deleted.
  • Server logs: kept on a rotating basis for security purposes and deleted after no more than [30] days.
  • Consent choice: stored in your browser until you clear it or change it via the "Cookie Settings" link.
  • Game progress: stays in your browser's localStorage until you clear it.

8. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data rectified;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict processing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • withdraw your consent at any time (via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at mike.oconnor.irl@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie), our lead supervisory authority, or with your local EU supervisory authority.

9. Children's privacy

Our sites are general-audience websites and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (in line with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). The consent we rely on for analytics and advertising cookies is only valid when given by visitors aged 16 or over (the digital age of consent in Ireland). If you are under 16, do not accept optional cookies: a parent or guardian must make that choice for you. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without valid consent, we will delete it promptly using the tools available to us, including Google's data deletion tools.

Parents and guardians may contact us at mike.oconnor.irl@gmail.com to (a) review any personal data associated with their child, (b) require that we stop further collection or use of it, and (c) have it deleted. We will act on verified requests promptly and without charge.

10. California and US state privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, the following applies:

  • Categories collected: identifiers (such as IP address) and internet or other electronic network activity information (such as pages viewed and interactions with ads), collected through Google Analytics and Google AdSense only after consent, and through routine server logs.
  • No sale for money: we do not sell your personal information in exchange for money. However, the use of third-party advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA.
  • Right to opt out: you can opt out of this sharing by rejecting advertising cookies via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
  • Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sharing described above to the extent our consent tooling supports it. You can always opt out directly via the "Cookie Settings" link.
  • Minors: we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. If we learn that such sharing has occurred without the opt-in consent the CPRA requires, we will stop it and delete the data.
  • Right to know and delete: you may request details of the personal information we have collected about you and request its deletion by emailing mike.oconnor.irl@gmail.com.
  • Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

11. Third-party links

Our sites link to third-party services we do not control, including our X (Twitter) profile @ForneArcade. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. Please review their policies before using them.

12. Changes to this policy and how to contact us

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we add new features or if the law changes. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site where appropriate.

Questions, requests or complaints about this policy or your personal data can be sent to mike.oconnor.irl@gmail.com or by post to MOJO Innovations, [POSTAL ADDRESS], Ireland.
